We’re excited to get back on court and play but there’s a few rules to make sure we’re all safe. If you can’t remember all of these that’s ok, the coaches will help you during the session.
Arriving at the sports centre
Sanitise your hands when you enter the sports centre
You’ll be guided to your court by a coach and you’ll stay on this court for the session
Put belongings down behind your court 2m away from other players
Stretch and warm up properly to avoid injury
During coaching
You will be in a bubble with the others on your court, don’t wander off!
After your turn at an exercise go to your spot to wait for your next turn
Don’t touch shuttles or equipment unless the coach asks you to
Wait until the coach asks before you stack any shuttles
During games
You’ll play games within your bubble
You can share a shuttle but avoid touching your face and using hand sanitizer regularly
At the moment we’ll only play singles with a maximum of two players on a court at a time
After the session
Sanitise your hands when you leave the sports centre
Leave quickly to allow the next group to enter
At all times
Make sure to stay 2m away from other players and coaches at all times
If you feel ill, let a coach know straight away
Before the session
Booking is absolutely essential and players not booked in will be turned away
Make sure your child has a racket, we can’t lend them out – buy one here
Changing rooms won’t be available so your child should arrive in sports kit
If you or any member of your household shows symptoms please do not attend
Drop off and pick up
Players should be dropped off and left to make their own way to the sports hall
Young players can be taken to the hall but please wear a mask and socially distance
Don’t arrive early and be on time to pick up as we may have multiple sessions
During coaching
Your child will be asked to use hand sanitiser throughout the session. You’re welcome to send them with their own if you’d prefer.
Other
Where possible, ask any questions via phone or email rather than at sessions
